Privacy Policy
Last updated September 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how DealVibe.ai ("DealVibe," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use the DealVibe platform — our website, application, and related services (together, the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account data. Name, email address, username, and profile details you provide when you create an account or update your settings.
- Deal and negotiation content. The content of brand inquiries, negotiation messages, deal terms, and any drafts our AI-assisted negotiation feature generates on your behalf.
- Voice audio. If you use voice dictation to fill in negotiation fields, we process the audio needed to convert your speech to text. See "Voice Data" below for how this is handled differently depending on your browser.
- Payment data. Billing details needed to process subscriptions, one-off purchases, and payouts. Full card numbers and bank details are handled directly by our payment processor and are not stored on our own servers.
- Usage data. Information about how you interact with the Service — pages visited, features used, device and browser type, IP address, and similar diagnostic and analytics data, including data collected via cookies and comparable technologies.
We use a first-party cookie (dv_src, 30 days) to record which channel you came from. It contains no personal data.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the Service — operating your account, running AI-assisted negotiation, generating video and voiceover content, and processing payments and creator payouts.
- To communicate with you — service updates, security alerts, transactional messages, and, where you've agreed to receive them, product updates.
- To maintain and improve the Service — diagnosing issues, understanding usage patterns, and improving reliability and features.
- To protect the Service and our users — detecting fraud, abuse, and security incidents, and enforcing our Terms of Service.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We work with a small set of trusted infrastructure, payment, and AI service providers to operate the platform — each bound by a data processing agreement that limits their use of your data strictly to providing that service to us. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information under the new ownership.
4. Voice Data
When you use voice dictation, your browser's own built-in speech recognition handles the conversion where supported — that audio is processed locally by your browser and is not sent to our servers. On browsers without built-in support, the audio is instead sent to a third-party speech-to-text provider for transcription, under the same data processing agreement terms described above. Either way, only the resulting text — not the audio recording — is retained as part of your deal or negotiation content.
5. Your Privacy Rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, and receive a copy of (port) your personal information, and to object to or request that we restrict certain processing. We process your information on the following legal bases: performance of a contract with you (running the Service), our legitimate interests (security, service improvement), your consent (e.g., marketing communications, where required), and compliance with legal obligations. Requests to exercise these rights, including erasure requests, are handled promptly and are treated as an operational priority, not merely a policy statement.
If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA)
You have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose about you.
- Delete personal information we've collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of today.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information to what's necessary to provide the Service.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
If you are a resident of another US state with a comprehensive privacy law
Residents of states such as Virginia, Colorado, and Connecticut have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and port their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, and certain profiling. Where applicable, we obtain opt-in consent before processing sensitive personal information, consistent with these states' requirements.
To exercise any of the rights above, contact us at info@dealvibe.ai. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or security purposes.
7. Data Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor due diligence — designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International Data Transfers
Where personal information is transferred internationally — including to the service providers described in this policy — we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or an equivalent legally recognized transfer mechanism, to protect that information consistent with applicable law.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us at info@dealvibe.ai and we will take steps to delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date, and where changes are material, we'll provide additional notice.
